As an accountant, attorney, social worker, and IRS Enrolled Agent, Jenna provides the majority of services for Triangle Advising.

Jenna began her career as a tax accountant. She eventually founded a tax-exempt nonprofit organization in North Carolina and spent more than a decade advising other 501c3 nonprofits worldwide on everything from entity formation and tax-exempt applications, management and operations, and regulatory compliance and federal grant reporting requirements, to performance metrics and outcome reporting, board education and training, and cross-border legal and financial considerations.

Jenna worked as a tenure-track faculty member in public universities, teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting, tax, and nonprofit classes, while researching and publishing about nonprofit accounting and tax issues. She spent several years teaching nonprofit executives in the Duke University Nonprofit Management Certificate Program. She also has worked as a clinical social worker, litigation associate, federal government auditor, and everything in between.
